DualForce FAQ
DualForce FAQ

Q: How long will the alkaline batteries last on my DualForce flashlight?

A: With continual use, the high setting will produce ~2 hours of light and the low setting will produce ~6 hours of light when using standard alkaline batteries.

Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries in my DualForce flashlight?

A: Rechargeable batteries are not recommended but may be used. The DualForceTM flashlights are specifically designed for single use batteries and rechargeable batteries may affect the performance of the flashlight in areas such as light quality and brightness.

Q: Why should I remove the batteries if I'm not using the flashlight for a long period of time?

A: It is suggested that batteries be removed from the flashlight if the light is not being used for a long period of time. There is a possibility that the batteries may corrode in the battery compartment (this is true of any battery in any appliance). If the battery does corrode, replace corroded batteries with fresh batteries.

Q: The packaging provides a warning to not look directly into the light beam. Why is this warning stated?

A: Looking directly at the light is not recommended due to the brightness of the beam.

Q: What do I do if my DualForce flashlight is not turning on?

A: Confirm that the batteries are installed in the correct orientation and that the battery cartridge is inserted with the spring-loaded tip first. If this does not correct the problem, it is possible that the head cap of the flashlight may have a loose connection. Please try the following steps:
1. Remove the tail cap from bottom of light
2. Take the battery compartment out
3. Turn the lens assembly or head cap counter clockwise to loosen a little and then turn it back clockwise to tighten. Make sure to completely tighten the head cap.
4. Place battery compartment back into the flashlight
5. Screw tail cap back on the bottom of flashlight
6. Turn on the light to see if your problem is resolved
7. If problem persists, please contact our customer service line for assistance (888.200.9825)

A: The light has a built in overcharge protection which turns off the current to the battery after the unit is fully charged. However, it does not automatically turn back on when the charge drops.
